2017 Keynote Speaker

Jeff Manley

Jeff Manley and his journey at The Rock Ranch began at 12 years old when he met the late S. Truett Cathy, Founder of Chick-fil-A, while working at a local drug store. The two became fast friends and a life-long bond was formed. After Jeff’s graduation from Berry College, he and Truett discovered a 350-acre farm property in The Rock, Ga.

Under Jeff’s leadership, the farm is now 1,500 acres and has evolved into one of the nation’s top “agritourism” destinations. The Rock Ranch offers more than 35 fun attractions, lodging, school field trips, company picnics and a farm market; all while continuing to operate as a working cattle ranch, producing high-quality grass-fed, grain-finished beef.

The Rock Ranch is home for Jeff and his family. He and his wife, Dr. Haley Manley have three children and are active members in a host of local community and state-wide endeavors. In 2013 Jeff was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal to the Georgia Tourism Foundation and serves as Vice Chair. He also serves on the University of Georgia’s College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences Advisory Council. He is the founding and past President of the Georgia Agritourism Association and is a selected participant in the University of Georgia’s Advancing Georgia’s Leaders class.
