First Annual Trailblazers Award
St. Lucie County, Fla. – The 9th Annual Treasure Coast Business Summit, hosted by local business leaders Dana Trabulsy and Lynette Marraffa, and in collaboration with the Peter W. Busch Family Foundation, has partnered with Mindi Fetterman of The Inner Truth Project to introduce the First Annual Treasure Coast Trailblazers Awards.
This award of distinction will be presented to women who have paved the way, broken the glass ceilings, created new avenues and inspired us all. The 2017 Trailblazers Award is sponsored by Post Insurance of Port St. Lucie. Kathy Post, owner of Post Insurance is a trailblazer herself; being named as one of the country’s 40 ‘Elite Women in Insurance, by Insurance Business America. Post is a positive role model for women on the Treasure Coast and is proud to partner as the first annual sponsor of this award.
Trailblazers are threaded throughout the fibers of the Treasure Coast and present themselves in various manners. A call to action is being mad e to the Treasure Coast Community to nominate women who have carved a clearer path, brought a vision to life or changed the paradigm by which we think. If you know a Trailblazer in Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River or Okeechobee County that deserves to be nominated, please send your letters to dana@tcbusinessbuilders.com. All letters must be submitted by May 10th, 2017. At least one Trailblazer from each county will be awarded. Submissions will be reviewed by a non-partial panel, and awards will be presented at the 9th Annual Treasure Coast Business Summit, to be held May 25th at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center.
The Treasure Coast Business Summit is the Treasure Coast’s largest business-to- business summit and expo, providing a networking and educational experience which will include a unique opportunity to meet other business leaders and professionals, learn about current opportunities, and establish relationships. This combination of information and networking will help business owners and entrepreneurs identify their inner strengths, and provide the tools and resources necessary to implement positive growth in their business. The TCBS will offer a comprehensive agenda of regional and local speakers. In addition, attendees will benefit from small panel group discussions facilitated by local leaders on the Treasure Coast.
